Opening Hours The building is generally open from approx. 11am to approx. 4pm daily with extensions for events although areas within the building may be restricted to ticket holders, competitors and officials. Entrances are Church Street and Coronation Street. Access to the Winter Gardens from Church Street is on one level, access from Coronation Street is via steps - lift access is also available from this side of the building (lift entrance is to the left, looking at the Coronation Street doors). For the Winter Gardens box office opening hours click here Parking and access We recommend the covered Houndshill Centre (access off Coronation Street) or the open air parking on Alfred Street/Adelaide Street as the closest car-parking facility, both just minutes from The Winter Gardens. There is also some metered street parking close by. Please be aware that St John's Square/Church Street in front of The Winter Gardens is closed to all traffic during the day although open to taxis in the evenings. Dining Options The Mazzei Cafe is now open to the public serving hot & cold drinks, pastries and sandwiches and the Empress Grill Room offers a new high quality dining venue Fridays and Saturdays 5pm - 10pm and for Sunday lunch 12 noon - 5pm.
